Cooperation between Bayraktar Technologies Azerbaijan and Baku Engineering University
A delegation led by Hüseyin Topuz, Director of Bayraktar Technologies Azerbaijan, visited Baku Engineering University (BEU).
During the meeting, Rector Yaqub Piriyev expressed his pleasure at welcoming the guests to BEU and voiced his confidence in the positive outcomes of the cooperation established between Bayraktar Technologies Azerbaijan and the university.
Presenting on the company’s activities, Hüseyin Topuz provided detailed information about the projects implemented by Bayraktar Technologies Azerbaijan and its future goals. He emphasized that the company’s main priority is the development of advanced technological systems and highlighted the broad internship opportunities for students. He also praised BEU’s potential in electrical and electronics, mechanical, computer engineering, and IT fields.
Rector Yaqub Piriyev stressed the importance of reinforcing theoretical knowledge with practice, noting the role of BEU’s Technopark where students are engaged in innovative start-up projects. He expressed his gratitude for the internship opportunities offered by Bayraktar Technologies Azerbaijan, stating that such experiences pave the way for future employment.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the university’s Cybersecurity and other laboratories, as well as the Technopark, where they showed great interest in the UAVs and projects developed by BEU students.
